The absolute greed of some people will never cease to amaze me. A week or so back, a story appeared about a guy that found a leg in a BBQ he bought at auction.
Well, it turns out that the leg belonged to a man that lost it in an airplane accident and he was keeping it to be cremated along with his remains when he dies. His belongings ended up for auction when he didn’t pay his storage fees and that’s how Shannon Whisnant came to be in possession of the leg.
Mr. Whisnant turned the leg into police but then decided he wanted it back. Why? Because he wanted to charge admission for people to see it. The man to whom the leg belonged, Mr. John Wood, was looking at having to fight for his own limb thanks to this asshat! Fortunately, the authorities actually did the right thing and are returning the leg to it’s rightful owner.
Dude, you really need to rethink your life if you actually think it was right for you to exploit Mr. Wood’s leg.
