Where does my content come from?

The first thing someone asked me when I told them I was gonna start a blog was what are you going to put on it. After thinking about this I boiled it down to 4 basic sources.

News Sites

I browse the various news outlets frequently when I take breaks from my normal routine and often read a story that I like and want to pass on to you. I can make a comment on the article and send you on you way to read further. I don’t plan on trying to scoop any news stories or be a source of news, but more of a commentary on things that interest me.

Other Blogs

I’m slowly building a list of blogs that I like to track for information to help me improve my blogging and understand the blogosphere in general. I’m more apt to write my own article on a similar topic than to link it since the blogs I visit are related to what I am doing.

Social Linking sites

These sites aren’t so much a place for content than they are a place to find it. There’s a lot of garbage to weed through on these sites so I don’t really keep as close an eye on them.

My Noggin

Most of the content on this site will hopefully of my own creation and at least entertaining enough that people want to read it. Depending on your political slant and sense of humor, you might like what I have to say or you might have have a very vocal opinion against it. Either way, I like to write about things that make people think for themselves. Too much of what is written these days is designed to tell you what or how to think. In the end, if I can get a laugh or a rise out of you, I’m satisfied.
