Pigeon’s From Hell

That’s right, the Minnesota bridge collapse may have been helped by a heaping helping of pigeon poo! Over on Faux News, there’s a “story” headline that reads “Pigeon Dung Contributed to Minneapolis Bridge Collapse“. The article goes on to state that pigeons pooping on bridges is a common problem that causes a lot of damage to the bridges due to the corrosive nature of pigeon poo.

Apparently because pigeons are descended from cliff dwelling birds, they like to roost on the surfaces of bridges causing headaches for those responsible for maintaining them. So what’s the solution? Kill them, chase them off, make them uncomfortable, or some other method to chase them away. This is so typical of the gub’ment to take the hard-ass approach to solving the problem when the obvious solution would be to accommodate the birds in a way that would allow them to roost yet protect the bridge. Provide shelters and other places for the birds to roost made from pigeon-poo-proof materials.

A 13-year old boy was suspended from in Arizona for doodling what looks like a gun on a piece of paper. The school district spokesman Terry Locke actually said the crude sketch was “absolutely considered a threat,” and that threatening words or pictures are punishable. Are you freaking kidding me? Your scared of a damn DRAWING? Thankfully this asshat doesn’t work in a bank. I can see the headline now “Teller Robbed At Paper Point”.

I’m really glad I don’t go to public school in today’s climate cause they would have locked me away a long time ago based on what I did as a kid in school. Schools need to stop scaring these kids into submissive sheeple! We teach them all these things about our government being a place of Freedoms yet give these kids NONE. Should someone take note of the fact the kid drew what appears to be the worst ever rendering of an object by an artist and leave it at that. We are doing more harm than good to these kids by showing them the way to handle a situation is with an immediate knee-jerk reaction that goes way beyond what a normal, sane person would do.
