You know, I am sick of TV dramas that require a committment. 24, Heroes, Lost, and not to mention the barrage of producer induced reality TV. If you miss one show you cannot figure out what is going on and thus have to stop watching. What is with all the prime time games shows an more than once a week? First it was fear factor on every other night, now it is that show with the freaky bald guy who is scared of germs. The desparate competition also ruins good TV. Why is American Idol on at 9PM for the vote results? That is a kid-friendly family show and should be on at 8. Most of the time I skip the vote show and tune in for the last 5 minutes. A lot of good shows get lost because they get moved around so fast andyou cannot find them. Television should not be research. Pick a friggen night. I think the real competition would be to schedule good shows on the networks so they don't "compete". People can only watch so much tv and a lot of really good shows get tossed out because of scheduling. It almost seems unfair to pit shows against Idol, for instance, and then they fail. What is with all the effed up re-runs? I thought re-runs were for the summer?
